Jason, excellent job!!  I managed to play to the end, despite my terrible game driving skills, which the attached pic demonstrates!!  (Not meant as any criticism of your game -- just as I said -- it shows what a lousy driver I am).  I thought I was permanently stuck here, but after the screen capture I was magically unstuck.

As for constructive criticism, I do think the car could go a bit faster.  And it needs to be raised up a bit, the tires seem to not be entirely on the surface of the road.

Could you tell me if you got the city terrain from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse?  I've tried downloading some very large terrain objects into SketchUp from the Warehouse without success.

I want to make a similar driving type game based on my hometown's downtown area (Kansas City).  I will download the buildings individually and use the existing racetrack object that comes with 3D Rad.  I am not sure how I will deal with the height of the walls on the race track, however.  I would like a more ordinary street, instead of a race track with the walls.

Does anyone know if there is a way of extracting terrain from Google Earth and importing it into SketchUp?

Dustov....thanks for the comments...as for the city..yes i got it from the warehouse of google sketchup and exported to rad as a ridgebody....

and not sure about the google earth thing...i know that once you have a picture on your google earth you can then go into sketchup and hit the earth icon at the top to import a flat image but not sure on anything else...i think i might have saw something on youtube...not sure though.... once again thanks for the feedback....as for the car going faster, yea i could do that but then it would be so easy to catch the AIcar...and if i make AIcar faster then he goes off of his programmed path much easier and runs into walls and jumps curves...so i need to find a way around that if i bump up the speed...Glad you liked it...

I realy enjoyed cruising around in your virtual town. It remind me an old game where you had to chase various criminals in a town with your flying car.
You could make ennemys fire back at the car randomly, increasing the difficulty of the oponents...

Thanks Iron...i wanted to make the AI car shoot back at me somehow but didnt really know how...I'm not too advanced yet..but i know most of the basics... Would you or anyone else reading this know how to make an AI car fire back at me....Any help would be appreciated....

so, if you write something like "Oh well guys no one besides dennis is commenting...Going to be removing this entire post within the next 48 hours and not going to post my games here anymore... " my natural reaction is what you saw.

let me explain you something,
there's no obligations attached in a community, at least not this one and not in that way. nobody is expressly obligated to take a look at your a hundred and so MB googlemaps and googlewarehouse standar mixture to be your test man and make you feel interesting and beloved.
so your tantrum is totally out of place, which makes me and definitly should make you wonder: are you community oriented?

now! this, obviously, is not the place to discuss this, so I just gonna fake my best "good luck with your marvelous enterprise" and stay aside.

agree, work on cameras... this drunk fx gives a bad trip...  ... try with steady effect at no more than 2...
keep modeling... and texturing... it's the most important area of every game...
I like a lot the planet bullets... very nice

Yes its a nice start, however the city model look very googlewarehouse. I could even drive on the water.
Also if you try driving on the "golden gate" you notice normals clip the city view.
Some more "enemies" and a plot wouldn't hurt either.
