How to export a animation to 3d rad with FragMotion
« on: May 04, 2009, 08:49:08 PM »
What I did is a bone animation in FragMONTION and send it as .x

I try playing it as mesh, and the mesh is there, but animation is not playing. (see attachement)

Might just be me doing something wrong. Cause I export the .x into DirectX viewer and it show the animation correctly. Animation working in DirectX Viewer aren't supposed to work in 3D Rad? (see attachement)

Animation working in DirectX Viewer aren't supposed to work in 3D Rad?

Thanx for posting the test models asterix! My knowledge of FragMONTION is too small to help, but, because others are succesfully using it for 3D Rad, I think that the problem is in the fragmotion settings you use bfore exporting. Hopefully somebody here at the forum can give you more details.

Not all animations that play in the MS viewer can play in 3D Rad. 3D Rad currently only supports bone-based animations and frame-by-frame animations.

Ok,  ;D I find it out. Hope it will be a sticky cause I looked for to make work a animation with any software for a while, I am sure I am not the only one of new user that look for that.

Here is the setting to export in .x from FragMotion.
