I have also added, to the SkinMesh library, the truck wheel's 3d model.
This allows me, by using new instances of the SkinMesh object, to provide a visual aspect to the car layout's wheels.
REMARKS:
To attach a SkinMesh to a specific part of an object (the wheel in this case),
you have to place the 3d-crosshair cursor on (or inside) the sub-part before linking the SkinMesh
to the target object, in the Object List.
To facilitate positioning of the SkinMesh, I first use the middle-mouse button to place the
3d cursor to the natural center of the target part, and then I use the Move Object To Cursor
function.
This is particularly useful for the wheels because the natural centers of the wheel model and the
car layout's wheel must match perfectly.
